Our monthly Farmers Markets began back in June and have been slowly increasing in popularity each month with both visitors and a continually growing number of high quality, speciality food and drink stall holders.
You can find locally made breads and pastries, cakes and cookies as well as fresh farm meats and veg boxes. If you have a sweet tooth, we have a local beekeeper who brings her fabulous honey, or you can find Temprd Chocolate, freeze dried sweets and delicious fudges.
If you prefer liquid refreshments, you can find loose leaf teas or for something stronger, check out the small batch craft spirits from the distillery or craft beers. We love it when the fish monger joins us and then there’s the Cheese and Pie Man! For non-edible offerings, there is usually a plant stall or maybe select a bunch of fresh flowers but there is something new and different to be found each month, so do come along and see what you can find.
We loved this feedback we received from one of our stall holders after their first visit:
“I just wanted to say thank you yesterday for a wonderful market. We never imagined we would sell out so quickly.” Sharika – What could Dough Wrong
