Just over a year ago, I opened Gallerie Schmetterling at Blake House Craft Centre. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of meeting so many wonderful visitors and collectors, and I’m delighted to be beginning a new chapter in Unit 6.
The larger space allows me to display more of my fine art photography, along with a growing collection of gifts featuring my images, including cards, coasters, cushions, throws, travel mugs and water bottles.
My photography is inspired by the natural world, beautiful places and the stories we discover through travel. While many of my images are taken here in the UK, others come from further afield, including Europe, Africa and, more recently, Guyana, where I’ve been fortunate to photograph some extraordinary wildlife and landscapes.
My hope is that the new gallery becomes a place where visitors can slow down, enjoy the photographs, discover something unexpected and perhaps find a piece of art or a gift that speaks to them.
Whether you’re visiting Blake House for the first time or returning for another browse, I’d love to welcome you to the new gallery in Unit 6.
